A few weeks to go until mandatory identify verification with Companies House for Company Directors, and others.
From 18 November 2025, if you’re a company director, or a person with significant control (PSC), you must verify your identity with Companies House by your due date.
The Companies House register will be updated on 18 November 2025 to show the due dates for each role held.
You can verify your identity ahead of the date allocated to your company.
If this is not done for all directors, a director cannot file a confirmation statement, and it can result in a number of criminal charges, as well as disqualification from being a UK Company Director.
