Legal advice privilege
Legal advice given by lawyers to their clients is “privileged”. In most circumstances cannot be disclosed to other parties including the courts. The court recently confirmed that this legal advice “privilege” did not extend to legal advice provided by accountants. (R (exp.Prudential Plc & Anr)
